Tropical aquarium filter?
I am thinking of building a moderately planted 15g tropical tank to be understocked or stored properly, and was wondering what could be better / cheaper filter to use would be. Also, if anyone can explain what type of filter to use, it would also be cool. I am among a lock on power filter or submersible vessel. I want the most cost effective configuration and prefer to remain below $ 100 for a small tank. so any help would be great
OMG $ 100?? You can pick any class filter 20 gallon tank for about $ 30 U.S. dollars maximum. Get a clear Aqua Marine Land 20 or Bio filter wheel for up to a 20 gallon tank. That's all you need for a 15-gallon tank, idk what you heard about filters, but after your tank is cycled from bacteria and weekly water changes that 90% of the work. Good luck Edit: Just to add, do not get an under gravel filter in addition to not being able to be used with plants. They act as both a waste of money and a horrible way of filtering tanks. They are a relic of the past that must be kept outside at all costs.
