Two events coming up for the people of NYC and SF, respectively:
1) SEE THE ELEPHANT! is a 1 hour long, quadrophonic, non-partisan yet political video installation by techno-provocateur Ryan Junell featuring a wide spectrum of situations and personalities this thursday/friday/saturday at monkeytown in wmsburg, brooklyn.
PROCEEDS from this show directly fund the cross-country swing-state road-trip for this project... so get to this show, bring your friends and help it tour! More details at www.seetheelephant.org.
2) LOVE PARADE! A celebration of love, diversity and peaceful intentions where the world is invited to come and dance in the SF streets. 30 floats! 220 DJs! Unlike other parades, all are welcome to join in and march the route with the floats.
Action starts at Mission and Beale @1PM. Parade down Folsom to the Embarcadero and then left on to 3rd. Ends up behind the Giants Ballpark for festivities until 9PM. More info at www.loveparadesf.org.
